SlipRezi Boater User Agreement
Welcome to SlipRezi! This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of docking facilities reserved through SlipRezi. By accessing or using a dock via the SlipRezi platform, you ("Boater") acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Agreement Between Boater and Dock Owner
1.1. This Agreement is solely between the Boater and the dock owner or property manager ("Host"). SlipRezi is a reservation platform that facilitates booking and availability as a courtesy and is not a party to this Agreement. 1.2. SlipRezi is not responsible for the condition, safety, suitability, or availability of any dock and makes no representations or warranties regarding dock facilities. 1.3. Any disputes or claims arising from dock use must be resolved between the Boater and the Host.
2. Acknowledgment of Risk & Liability Waiver
2.1. Boater acknowledges that docking, mooring, and all associated activities involve inherent risks, including damage to property, injury, or loss of life. 2.2. Boater assumes all responsibility for the safety of their vessel, passengers, and personal property. 2.3. SlipRezi, the Host, and any affiliated parties are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the Boater’s use of the dock. 2.4. Boater agrees to carry and maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including liability protection, while docked at any location booked through SlipRezi.
3. Dock Use & Compliance
3.1. Boater agrees to follow all posted dock rules and local, state, and federal regulations governing docking and mooring. 3.2. Boater must respect the dock owner's property and surrounding areas, ensuring no damage occurs due to negligence, improper mooring, or unauthorized modifications. 3.3. Boater must vacate the dock at the agreed-upon departure time. Extended stays may be subject to additional fees. 3.4. Boater shall not engage in any unlawful or disruptive activities, including excessive noise, discharge of waste, or unauthorized commercial use of the dock.
4. Environmental Responsibility
4.1. Boater agrees to comply with all environmental laws, including but not limited to:
Proper disposal of waste, fuel, and oil;
Prevention of spills and pollution;
Use of eco-friendly cleaning products when maintaining vessels at dock. 4.2. Any environmental violation may result in penalties, removal from the dock, and/or reporting to relevant authorities.
5. Fees, Cancellations & Refunds
5.1. All docking fees are payable via the SlipRezi platform prior to arrival. 5.2. Cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in the reservation confirmation. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to SlipRezi’s cancellation policy. 5.3. Additional fees may apply for extended stays, excessive utility use, or damage to the dock.
6. Indemnification
6.1. Boater agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Host, its affiliates, employees, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the Boater’s use of the dock. 6.2. SlipRezi is not responsible for any claims, disputes, or liabilities related to the docking experience and shall not be named as a party in any legal matters between the Boater and the Host.
7. Termination & Enforcement
7.1. Violation of this Agreement may result in immediate termination of docking privileges and removal from the dock at the Boater’s expense. 7.2. The Host reserves the right to refuse service or revoke docking access at any time for non-compliance.
8. Additional Property-Specific Terms
8.1. The Host may impose additional rules, regulations, or conditions specific to their dock property. 8.2. These additional terms will be provided to the Boater upon arrival or included in the reservation details. 8.3. Failure to adhere to property-specific terms may result in immediate termination of the docking agreement.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a reservation or using a dock via SlipRezi, the Boater acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
